We are happy to present PAPER (and one on wood), an exhibition that brings together all artists of the gallery to be part of our first-ever, online viewing room presentation. The current climate is hindering a lot of our artists to create larger scale projects or simply get to their studio. Thus, the idea of doing a show that features only works on paper (sub one) stems in part from that reality. It also celebrates the practice, which many artists already have as part of their oeuvre, but some just started to work in due to the stay-at-home order internationally. This exhibition is also a way for us to celebrate unity during a difficult time, coming together, as one, to be together, as one.
Lastly, we also wanted to give back to our city. Therefore, 10% of all profits will be donated to the Los Angeles Food Bank, where $100 equals 400 meals for people in need. The show features over 100 works by more than thirty artists.
