Deli Gallery, New York presents
Brianna Rose Brooks
The way things go
November 21–December 19, 2020
There must be something the matter with them
Because they would not be acting as they do
unless there was
Therefore they are acting as they are
Because there is something the matter with them
They do not think there is anything the matter with them
because
one of the things that is the matter with with them
is that they do not think that there is anything
the matter with them
Therefore
We have to help them realize that,
The fact that they do not think there is anything
The matter with them
Is one of the things that is
The matter with them
There is something the matter with them
Because they think
There must be something the matter with us
For trying to help them to see
That there is something the matter with them
To think that there is something the matter with us
For trying to help them see that
We are helping them
To see that
We are not persecuting them
By helping them
To see we are not persecuting them
By helping them
To see that
They are refusing to see
That there is something the matter with
Them
For not seeing there is something the matter
With them
For not being grateful to us
For at least trying to help them
To see that there is something the matter with
Them
For not seeing that there must be something the
Matter with them
For not seeing that there must be something the
Matter with them
For not seeing that there is something the matter
With them
For not seeing that there is something the matter
With them
For not being grateful
That we never tried to make them
Feel grateful
